As we reported earlier this week, Andrew Koenig (son of Walter Koenig) has been missing for nearly two weeks.  He was last seen at a bakery in Vancouver's Stanley Park neighborhood Feb 14, but may have left warning signs when he returned personal items to his friend and colleague filmmaker Lance Micci on February 2nd.

"I asked him to work on a couple gigs last time we spoke (Feb. 4), and he just refused. It was unusual. He was kind of fed up with the Hollywood business," Miccio said.

Andrew Koenig who played Richard 'Boner' Stabone on "Growing Pains", as well as Tumak on the DS9 episode "Sanctuary", has been missing since February 14th.  Andrew, son of TOS star Walter Koenig, was last seen in Vancouver, Canada.

Andrew is "in a depressed state," his father told Entertainment Tonight. Walter said he and his wife Judy had last heard from Andrew, 42, in early February when he was visiting friends in Toronto.  He then went to Vancouver where he was last seen February 14. He didn't show up for his February 16 flight back to L.A.

Walter Koenig has spent the last 10 years or so battling it out, trying to get his film "InAlienable" developed and filmed.  Finally, this year the film will be hitting DVD shelves and ScreenStar.com has an interview with Walter.

"InAlienable" is a sci-fi thriller and legal drama that follows the plight of a guilt-ridden scientist, Dr. Norris (Richard Hatch), who gives birth to an alien-human hybrid child, a child that then becomes the focal point of a legal case over whether it's a living entity with rights or an abomination that must be destroyed.

Star Trek: TOS Bloopers (apparently there were lots of door problems in the 60s)

Two of our favorite PC games over the past decade have been "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and "Fallout 3".  Imagine, an RPG much like those two amazing games, but in the Star Trek: TOS Universe.  This could have been a reality according to Bethesda studio head Todd Howard.  Bethesda had the rights to Star Trek for a very short period and considered the game.  Unfortunately, it never made it past the pitch phase.  We found the article via The Escapist, but Howard made that revelation on Kotaku's podcast last week.  Check out the article excerpt below.

Mythbusters, the popular TV series from the Discovery Channel, are know for disproving (or proving, depending on the outcome) of modern myths. From whether or not A penny dropped from a skyscraper lands with enough force to either kill a pedestrian on the sidewalk below or embed itself into the sidewalk, to if it is possible to bust out of a jail cell by trapping the gas released from a large stockpile of antacid tablets and water, the Mythbusters have taken on many of our modern day myths.

Our friends over at DVD Geeks invited us, Jerad "Hey Star Trek!" Yesterday on our Facebook page we posted a link to a Deforest Kelley video montage of his pre-Trek days as a cowboy and western movie star. This got us to thinking, that it's time for another edition of our famous Star Trek Youtube Video Round-up series.

Our favorite spacefaring country doctor is the focus of this episode. We found lots of great videos and fond memories of De Kelley, from a 1976 interview on Tom Snyder's Tomorrow program to rare footage from the 1995 Creation Grand Slam in L.A.. Just about every Trek fan knows about the Star Trek: TOS "two pilot" story.  If not, the tale goes that Gene Roddenberry and company created the original pilot "The Cage", starring Jefferey Hunter as Captain Pike, and showed the feature to NBC.  NBC then rejected the said pilot as "too cerebral" and ordered another pilot when "Where No Man Has Gone Before" was born.
