The Star Trek Spock Transporting Bobble Head should not be confused with the regular old Star Trek Captain Kirk Talking Bobble Head, since this one is much, much cooler. This Star Trek bobble head is extra special because it has a clear body. Tap Spock’s  little head and his see-through body will light up - beam me up Scotty style.

So what if Kirk gets all the girls, Spock can use the transporter! This bobble head will debut as a Comic-Con 2009 Entertainment Earth Exclusive and is currently available for preorder for $13.99. There will only be 1,500 pieces available, so get them while they’re hot. 

While coasting around Youtube, we found several Star Trek related videos that we've never seen before. Always wanting to share with our fellow trekkers, we thought we would put together a simple post with links to some of the highlights.

The first video is a fantastic interview with our favorite bartender Quark. Well, Armin Shimmerman. He seems like a terrifically down-to-earth kinda guy. Being under his employ at Quarks bar for over 8 years, Darren Benjamin from Trekcast reaffirms that. Well, maybe he didn't work for Armin but he did work for Quark.

Dan Madsen, Star Trek Fan club and Communicator founder, recently sat down for a candid interview with Leonard Nimoy.  Dan asks Leonard several insightful questions that have yet to be asked in all the coverage of the new film.  Check out the excerpt below.

DM: Leonard, when you heard for the very first time that there was a new Star Trek film in the works and they wanted you to play Spock again, was there a part of you that said inside, “No, I’m done with that character?”

As reported by Broadway World, George Takei will star in a staged reading of a new musical 'Allegiance' at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles on July 13th.

This 4th of July, our beloved Sulu (George Takei) is set to narrate the Fireworks Spectacular with the San Francisco Symphony.  This has become a regular gig for Takei, narrating symphonic performances from Honolulu to Long Island and everywhere in between.

Matt Blum from Wired has another installment in his 'Great Geek Debate' series.  This time it strikes at the core (well, we think it's the core) of every Trekkers heart; Kirk Vs.
