Mythbusters, the popular TV series from the Discovery Channel, are know for disproving (or proving, depending on the outcome) of modern myths. From whether or not A penny dropped from a skyscraper lands with enough force to either kill a pedestrian on the sidewalk below or embed itself into the sidewalk, to if it is possible to bust out of a jail cell by trapping the gas released from a large stockpile of antacid tablets and water, the Mythbusters have taken on many of our modern day myths.

Next on the agenda, could Captain Kirk actually build a cannon from bamboo, diamonds, and the base elements of gun powder, and then kill the Gorn with it. Should be lots of fun. Watch the episode Monday, December 28th and check out the preview below.
