Dan Swenson, of the New Orleans The Times-Picayune, wrote a recent article describing his Star Trek dream crew.  With his first pick for captain being Jean-Luc Picard of TNG.  We found this to be a really interesting read although a little light on the DS9'ers.

Michael Dorn, best known for his role as Worf in the Star Trek universe, will be featured in the season finale of 'Heroes' reprising his role as the U.S. President.  This is the Second time he's played The President, Michael was originally in episode 13 of this season.

Michael isn't the only Star Trek Alum to star in 'Heroes'.  George Takei has been in 11 episodes playing Kaito Nakamura.

Be sure to catch Michael in the Season Finale of 'Heroes' April 27th on NBC.

Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi - TNG) will be appearing at Super-Con 2009 on May 16th - 17th. Super-Con is an annual comic book convention held in San Jose, CA. and features special guest stars, panel discussions, exhibitor areas, cosplay contests, and more.

Other special guests include comic book artists Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, and Eduardo Risso as well as Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca from Star Wars), Bruce Dern (Silent Running, The Burbs), and Jane Wedlin from The Go-Go's. 

If you're in the Orlando Florida area this weekend you have chance to see Leonard Nimoy and Jonathan Frakes at the 20th Anniversary FX Show International.

Billed as the coolest show on earth, the FX show is pop culture convention featuring stars from comics, sc-fi, horror, and sports genres. The show is expected to bring 20,000 fans from all over the country to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Reported on earlier today, the new Star Trek: The Next Generation Vol. 1 comic is set for release tomorrow.  Comixology.com has a 10 page preview of the manga.

According to Mania.com, F.J. DeSanto has worked along side Michael Uslan to bring films like 'The Dark Knight', 'Constantine', 'Turok: Son of Stone' and 'The Spirit' to the big screen.  Now he's putting his energy into writing new installments of the 'The Spirit' for D.C. and 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' Manga for Tokyo Pop.

As reported on komonews.com, Wil Wheaton was in Seatle for this years Emerald City Comicon. "You can still see a hint of the young ensign "Wesley Crusher" behind Wil Wheaton's beard. He's 36 years old now, and an accomplished author and blogger." writes KOMO's Kristin Hanes.
