"Free Enterprise…remember the film? Well we are doing a sequel, Free Enterprise 2. So they have got me involved in some fun stuff. And I will be shooting that in the next month or so." Shatner Said to an extremely excited crowd.

Summer Glau, "Firefly" & "The Sarah Connor Chronicles", is in Australia for the Supernova series of conventions and was recently interviewed for Scifi Australia where she admitted to being a huge TNG fan.

"...the show I really grew up on was Star Trek: The Next Generation. That was a show that I watched with my parents that I talked them into letting me stay up to watch it. I got to meet Marina Sirtis last year, which was a really special moment for me. I grew up idolizing her." Said Glau, when asked what scifi she would show to a friend to introduce them to the genre.

She also revealed that she would love to meet The Shat.  Yeah, who wouldn't?

Keyscaper "Star Trek" Custom Keyboard & Mouse Review

LCARS or Library Computer Access/Retrieval System is something that most if not all Trek fans are familiar with. Even if you've never heard the acronym before, you've seen it in action. You know, the computer interfaces with multi-colored pill-shaped buttons that litter nearly every computer and control from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" onward. Even "Enterprise" and the new J.J. Abrams's "Star Trek" had they're own custom controls and user interfaces.

Well, Damon has launched a brand new podcast called Geek Fights, where each week two subjects in geek culture are pitted against each other in a steel cage grudge match.

Iowa Trek Fans Go For Guinness World Record

Iowa Trek Fans Go For Guinness World Record

Another group of Trek fans may have beaten the world record for the "most people dressed as characters from the television series and movies".  As you may or may not have heard, this record attempt seems to be the thing to do at conventions this year.  The original record was set back in February in London on the world famous Millennium bridge where 99 Trek Fans gathered.  With attempts in Tampa back in May, the "enterprising" (sorry) fans of Iowa could have actually beaten the record.

Philadelphia Comic Con Coverage, For Losers Like Me

As many of you may or may not know, this weekend Philadelphia, PA. is host to a ton of Trek & non-Trek stars alike. Another in the series of Comic Cons that seem to be spanning the US this year, the Philly Comic Con is giving us an amazing roster of captains, omnipotent beings, emissaries, & androids.

We were very fortunate to have a friend of the site cover the con for us. Camile, one of our good friends on twitter, lives in Philly and was kind enough to snap several photos for us and even video a Q&A session with none other than Brent Spiner.
