Geek Fights Episode 92: Most Mediocre Star Trek Episode W/ Even More Awesome

Geek Fights Episode 92: Most Mediocre Star Trek Episode W/ Even More Awesome

We've been making the rounds lately on a few of our favorite podcasts. Heck, what can I say, it's always an honor when someone asks us back to their show. Huh, maybe I wasn't as big of  space-douche (also know as a Pakled) last time as I thought I was... Anyway, I had the pleasure of being on another installment of one of our favs;Geek Fights. What's the topic this time, you ask? Well, Damon and the fellas served up the most mediocre Star Trek episode. We hashed this bad boy out for over 2 hours and it wasn't nearly as easy as it sounds. Think about it. Mediocre. Not good, not bad, just somewhere in the middle. We had tons of fun, though, and think that you'll really enjoy listening to this episode. Geek Fights Podcast Episode 27: Best Star Trek Episode Part Deux

Geek Fights Podcast Episode 27: Best Star Trek Episode Part Deux

The amazingly daunting task continues. After episode 1 of "Best Star Trek Episode Ever" the Geek Fighters have whittled the alpha bracket down to DS9's "In the Pale Moonlight". A fantastic episode, yes, but will it stand up against...... Thought I was going tell you, didn't you? You'll just have to listen to the latest fantastic and ultimately Trek geek-centric episode of Geek Fights. In this episode you can hear the slowly deepening, sickly voice of your's truly. I'm joined by Jerad "Hey Star Trek! / super_spock" Formby, Michael Felsher, and Geek Fights hosts Damon Shaw, & Mike Ortiz. Good times and lots of laughs will be had by all. On top of the all the Trek goodness, you can also enjoy listening to me mispronounce Corbomite, talk about Charles Bronson, confuse "Where No Man Has Gone Before" with "Where No One Has Gone Before", and finally explain how Jeffrey Combs was on a show called "The 3300" (That's the 4400). Some of the content might not be suitable for younger ears, but seriously though, there are some really great and insightful discussions happening in the episode that you won't want to miss. Check out the details below.

Geek Fights Podcast Episode 26: Best Star Trek Episode Part 1

Geek Fights Podcast Episode 26: Best Star Trek Episode Part 1

Okay, so, this is a daunting task... Choosing the best "Star Trek" episode ever made. The Field has been chosen and the players assume there positions. That's right our good friends over at Geek Fights have boldly gone were few have gone before. Sorry, had to. Truly though, the task is really daunting, in fact there are so many fantastic Trek episodes spanning the various series that the Geek Fighters had to split this battle royale into two and a half episodes. Damon & Mike enlist the help of Trekcast's Darren Benjamin and Geek Fighters Barry Ingram & Paul Storrie. Stay tuned for part two coming shortly with yours truly, where I drop truth bombs. TRUTH BOMBS! Was that a bit much?... A little?.... Okay, a little.

Geek Fights Star Trek Vs. Star Wars Round 2... BEGIN!

Geek Fights Star Trek Vs. Star Wars Round 2... BEGIN!

Our good friends at Geek Fights were kind enough to ask us to join in on round 2 of the Star Trek Vs. Star Wars debacle (said like Gabe from "Trekkies"). We laid down some superior intellect in our attempt to defend our favorite science fiction franchise. Oh, and you can probably guess which franchise we're talking about. Fun was had by all and in the end the victory went to... I'm not going to spoil it. You're just going to have to listen to episode 17 of the, ever so awesome, GEEK FIGHTS! Check out the show description below.

It’s back to the beginning as we revisit our very first Geek Fight with STAR WARS VS STAR TREK 2.0. Once again we pit the spawn of Lucas against the progeny of Roddenberry. Can a shuttle craft take down a tie fighter, Is Red Squad more bad ass that Rouge Squadron, Can Locutus assimilate Vader? And Q comes looking for a rematch against Yoda. Star Wars beat Star Trek pretty handily last time. Join Damon Shaw, Mike Ortiz, Charity Wood, Chris Wood and John Whalen to see if Trek can stage a comeback. (source Geekfights.net)

Well, Damon has launched a brand new podcast called Geek Fights, where each week two subjects in geek culture are pitted against each other in a steel cage grudge match.
