In a recent LA Times article, writer Geoff Boucher sat down with our favorite vulcan Leonard Nimoy.  In the interview they discuss the new film 'Star Trek', Leonard's early years in Hollywood, his past experiences with Star Trek, and the origins of the Vulcan Salute.

Leonard Nimoy, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto stopped by Saturday Night Live over the weekend and made a guest appearance on weekend update. 

Nimoy, Pine & Quinto take on Trekker reaction to the tagline "This isn't your father's Star Trek' with some lighthearted ribbing of Trek fans  Some fans may not find it humorous, but it's definitely not the infamous Shatner 'Get a life' Skit.  Although, seeing the Shatner skit first run we thought that was pretty funny as well.  Check out the video below.

Leonard Nimoy stopped by NBC's Today Show this morning.  Included with the interview are a few behind the scene clips from 'Star Trek' which releases today nationwide. As reported earlier, he will also be appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight to present a Star Trek themed top ten list.

In a recent Q&A with SCI FI Wire, Leonard Nimoy Talks about what it was like to play Spock again and working with Zachary Quinto.

As reported by The Insider, Leonard Nimoy reflected upon old cast mates that have passed on while filming the new J.J. Abrams Film 'Star Trek'

Nimoy said he got ‘choked-up’ thinking about his old co-stars such as James Doohan and DeForrest Kelly, who have now passed away.

In a recent interview with the Boston Globe, Leonard Nimoy talks about how Zachary Quinto was a good choice to dawn Spocks pointed ears.

"Zachary Quinto is a very intelligent actor, and he's serious about his work, and he looks enough like me to make the whole thing work," Nimoy told the newspaper about Quinto's role in the upcoming "Trek" film from director J.J. Abrams. (source United Press)

As reported by the Associated Press, Leonard Nimoy is open to the idea of another 'Star Trek' sequel.

"If J.J. Abrams calls me, I answer the phone," Nimoy said during a recent interview. "I don't say 'never' anymore."
