Nimoy Got Emotional Filming 'Star Trek'
As reported by The Insider, Leonard Nimoy reflected upon old cast mates that have passed on while filming the new J.J. Abrams Film 'Star Trek'
Nimoy said he got ‘choked-up’ thinking about his old co-stars such as James Doohan and DeForrest Kelly, who have now passed away.
He said: “Yes, I did get emotional and I was crying at times but I’m at a much more peaceful place in my life too right now, and that feels good.”
Nimoy also had this to say about the new films director.
“JJ Abrams is a unique in that he can do both the large-scale moments and the personal moments also, and that’s very rare in cinema.”
He added: “I believe that this new Star Trek mirrors what is going on in society today and has a very positive message in that if people work together, they can solve problems much better.” (source The Insider)
