Youtube Video Round-up: The James Doohan Edition
As I was thinking over a few ideas for an article tonight, I realized that we have yet to honor our favorite Scotsman in the appropriate fashion. So, ladies, gents, and all trans-gender species, it's time for the... Youtube Video Round-up: James Doohan edition. As a young trek fan, I don't think that there was a cast member I tried to imitate more than Scotty. From the ubiquitus "I haven't got the power" to "Aye, the haggis is in the fire for sure", I tried them all.
Creation's Chicago Con Roster. Is it Spock's Last?
With the recent announcement of his retirement, Leonard Nimoy has been hitting the convention circuit pretty heavily. Not that we're complaining. We definitely want to see him before he buys a condo and moves to Florida. With the retirement news though, we just assumed that Vegas Khhaaan! was going to be his last show. Apparently not. It looks like the 44th annual Chi-town convention could be our Vulcan friend's last show (maybe). So, if you're looking for a chance to get a photo or autogarph with Mr. Nimoy beyond Vegas, you still have a chance.
All Four Seasons Of Enterprise Available Online
One of the most underrated Star Trek series, in our book, "Star Trek: Enterprise" or just "Enterprise" is now available for viewing online. CBS Studios has made all four seasons watchable for free on CBS.com. Star Trek: The Original Series is also available for viewing through the CBS website.
From our understanding, Apple iPad users should also be able to view the series. If not now, then soon since it appears that CBS is in the process of testing and slowly releasing all of it's streaming content using HTML 5 instead of Adobe Flash.

The Shat To Direct A Documentary About Himself
William "The Shat" Shatner is full of awesomesuce, as we all know, and is really the king of all media. From directing, producing, starring, "singing", and even entrepreneuring his way across the galaxy, The Shat is now making his way where no man has gone before, again. This time, Bill is ready to direct a documentary about himself starring himself. Wait, wouldn't that rip a hole in the fabric of something or other?
Sir Patrick Stewart Added To Vegas Khhaaan!! Roster
Patrick Stewart has had quite a year. From being knighted to being in almost every Shakespearean production this side of Talos IV, our humble Captain seems to be in his prime. Added to his full year has been his seemingly none stop convention attendance. This is a true treat for Trek fans as Patrick had been absent for many years.

Star Trek Online Combat Difficultly Settings Video
Cryptic studios recently released a video detailing the new difficulty slider & character injury features in Star Trek Online. If you haven't played the game in a while or are unfamiliar with the new features, Cryptic has added three levels of difficulty to combat within the game. The different settings also will scale the quality & frequency of combat rewards.
A new interesting feature to the difficulty system is the possibility of sustaining an injury that will in turn reduce your characters performance. Injuries can only occur on the highest level of difficulty in combat and require a visit to a medical facility for repair.
Philadelphia Comic Con Coverage, For Losers Like Me
As many of you may or may not know, this weekend Philadelphia, PA. is host to a ton of Trek & non-Trek stars alike. Another in the series of Comic Cons that seem to be spanning the US this year, the Philly Comic Con is giving us an amazing roster of captains, omnipotent beings, emissaries, & androids.
We were very fortunate to have a friend of the site cover the con for us. Camile, one of our good friends on twitter, lives in Philly and was kind enough to snap several photos for us and even video a Q&A session with none other than Brent Spiner.
