Leonard Nimoy Lends His Voice To Next "Kingdom Hearts" Video Game
"Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep" is the seventh game in the series that began back in 2002, released for the Playstation 2. Set for a September 7th, 2010 release, the new game also adds some familiar voices to the roster. One world famous Vulcan and a little know farmboy from a galaxy far, far away. That's right, Leonard Nimoy and Mark Hamil are set to star in the upcoming Playstation Portable release.
Rachel Weisz Would Love To Be In A Star Trek Sequel
Known for a true gambit of film types and genres, Rachel Weisz has been everything from Mummy hunter to rumored Bond Girl in the next Danial Craig, James Bond film. She's also slated to play the former First Lady in a Jackie O. biopic. According to an interview with Collider.com, Rachel has a healthy interest in possibly starring in the next J.J. Abrams's installment of "Star Trek". To us, that sounds like an interesting prospect. Just one word of advice when mentioning our favorite Vulcan though; drop the "Dr." from "Dr. Spock".
Patrick Stewart Joins The Philadelphia Comic Con Roster
June 11th through the 13th is the date and Philadelphia, PA. apparently is the place for an awesome gathering of Trek stars. Among other stars from various scifi and fantasy genres, you'll get the chance to see three captains (two Starfleet and one Gorn), a father and son duo of omnipotent beings, an android, our favorite Russian navigator, and the son of the Emissary. Just added to the roster is none other than Sir Patrick Stewart. Wizard World is currently working with Sir Patrick to set up one or two panel discussions that should prove enjoyable.
We didn't intentionally plan our list to be a guessing game, but we enjoyed it none-the-less. Check out the full list of Trek stars below.
John De Lancie & Robert Picardo To Host Star Trek: The Music
Our favorite holographic doctor and omnipotent mischievous being are set to host a concert series in the Great White North (yes, everything we know about Canada we learned from Bob & Doug McKenzie). The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony series called "Star Trek: The Music" is marked to play June 2nd & 3rd with after parties following both performances. Tickets start at $25 Canadian.
Selections will include the theme from the original series, the theme from Voyager, the Klingon battle theme, selections of James Horner’s scores from The Wrath of Khan and more – highlights from the abundance of music accompanying five series and eleven feature films.
The Shat Is Recording Bohemian Rhapsody, Maybe New Album
Our good friend (as if we know him) William Shatner is known for his halting... way of... speaking and his quirky spoken word albums. Oh, and the whole Star Trek thing. With two albums in print, Apparently The Shat is trying to put together a set of songs for a third, but this time he's pulling out all the stops. According to a twitter post, Bill has recently gone into a recording studio and laid down a track covering Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Delta Shield Shaped Audiophile Speakers For The Affluent Trek Fan
Just the mere shape of these speakers makes us want a pair. Hand crafted by Danish Audio Company NAME REDACTED, the NAME REDACTED series of loudspeaker is part audiophile grade transducer and modern Danish furniture. To us, it looks like a giant flippin' delta shield that WE MUST HAVE for our living room. Of course, there's a catch (isn't there always). Available in both black and walnut finishes, a set of Rithms will set you back about five grand. According to the reviews we've seen, the speakers are worth their price tag for sound reproduction & aesthetics.
