Calling Iowa Trek Fans, The Voyage Home - Riverside History Center Needs Your Help
Riverside Iowa has staked the claim several years ago, as the future birth place of our beloved Captain James T. Kirk. Now they're calling all Trek fans in the general area for volunteer help with The Voyage Home - Riverside History Center. The center hosts displays featuring historical items relating to Riverside, as well as an entire room dedicated to Star Trek.
"The museum is looking for volunteers and interns who can help staff the museum and use their creativity to build displays", board vice president Phil Richman said.

Not only is H.M.S. Pinafore one of Cmdr. Data's favorite comic operas, now it's being mashed up with Star Trek in a brand new show called USS Pinafore. The show, being Presented by Crown City Theatre Company in North Hollywood, CA., takes Gilbert and Sullivan further than they've ever gone before... to outer space!

Roddenberry Star Trek Merch Coming To Entertainment Earth
While doing our normal web surfing tonight, we came across something that we found pretty interesting. It appears that Roddenberry Merchandise will be available from the leading online retailer of fandom merchandise, Entertainment Earth. Slated for a June 2010 release, Roddenberry Merch will be ready for consumption. The items include everything from a $50 UFP flag to the $5600 TOS Captain's chair and everything in between.
