Tomorrow night, Trek authors Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore will be spending time with a genetically altered superhuman.  That's right, for two special Saturday performances (well the last one is Sunday at 12:30am, but nobody likes a math nerd) of "KHAAAAAN! The Musical", Dayton & Kevin will be on hand to autograph books and chat with theatre-goers before the play. This is all taking place at the Off Center Theater in Crown Center, Kansas City, MO, as part of the Kansas City Fringe Fest.  

The well versed actor, singer, and producer Chase Masterson, is joining the likes of Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto in Star Trek Online. Two Spocks and a Dabo girl, hey, I see a series in that! Anyway, Chase is lending her voice to STO Season Two aboard Deep Space Nine in her familiar role as a Dabo girl. Well, A holographic Dabo girl, which is the property of Quark Enterprises. We all know the iconic four fingers on the face and chant "My mind, to your mind. Your thoughts, to my thoughts", other wise known as the Vulcan Mind Meld. Spock has used it numerous times to get the Enterprise and her crew out of immediate peril. Heck, he even used it to on Kim Catrall, but unfortunately her brain was empty. Apparently, scientists are now showing that good conversations can cause brain coupling and "may shed light on the mechanisms by which our brains interact and bind to form societies." Sounds like a Vulcan mind meld, right? Well, sort of.

We can hardly believe that it's less than 10 days until Vegas Khhaaan! showers it's superior intellect upon us.  We are really looking forward to meeting you, our awesome readers, or as we like to call you, blog-olians.  Our first meetup will be in Orange County, CA., we'll be in the area pre-khhaaan!! and figured what better place to get together with our So Cal fans.

The writing duo of Robert Orci & Alex Kurtzman are a hot commodity in Hollywood these days.  Working on "Aliens & Cowboys" plus the new "Hawaii Five-O" television show and several other projects on top of writing the sequel to J.J. Abrams's "Star Trek" has the writers' days "regimented by the hour".  According to an interview MTV News at SDCC Orci & Kurtzman are spending time on their various work sets writing the next installment of Star Trek.

With the flurry of Star Trek XII production start date rumors (now it looks like later than January 2011), Zachary Quinto confesses that he "Can't Wait To Get Back" to work on our favorite franchise. In an interview with MTV News, Quinto talked about the possibility of January 2011 start date " I know there are sort of erroneous reports that we're going back in January — not true, as far as I know."

Cryptic Studios is readying it's next big content update for Star Trek Online which is set to release this month. Called "Season Two: Ancient Enemies", the new content promises a higher level cap, mini games including Dabo, new ships, missions, ship interiors, and tons more. Not only has Cryptic released full details, but they've also released a brand new trailer for "Season Two" featuring some pretty amazing Klingon action and space battles in Fluidic Space.
