Paramount suprises fans in Austin

According to Trek Movie, Paramount pulled off a huge surprise in Austin, TX. Under the guise of showing a 10 minute preview of 'Star Trek' after 'The Wrath of Khan', 'Star Trek' filmakers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof suprised the fans with a full showing and special appearance by Leonard Nimoy.

'Star Trek' Premieres in Sydney Tuesday. Ask questions via twitter

According to wired magazine, JJ Abrams will premiere 'Star Trek' in Sydney on Tuesday. Fans world wide can follow the event via Phreadz.

Paramount announced it will have bloggers using mobile technology to bring fan-submitted questions to the movie's stars. Trekkers are invited to submit questions for director J.J. Abrams and cast members Eric Bana, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto via Twitter using an #asktrek hashtag.

Star Trek XI Gets PG-13 Rating and New Photos

According to iFilm, The upcoming 'Star Trek' will receive a PG-13 rating for 'sci-fi action and violence and brief sexual content'. Plus, paramount has released 3 new screen grabs from the picture. The photos include what looks like Kirk and Spock on the bridge of the Enterprise, Nero on the bridge of the Narada, and Kirk climbing out of a shuttle crashed on a glacier.
