Remember back in the late 80s / early 90s when simulator rides were all the rage? Heck, it seems that almost every theme park had one. I wanna say that it all started with Star Tours in the magic kingdom, but honestly I think it may have started with crappy sim rides at state fairs. You know the type, you sit in a tube shaped like a rocket and take an imaginary trip to Mars or through someone's GI tract. Maybe not the later, but you get the point.

We’ve made it no secret that we love Shran err Weyoun ummm Brunt …wait…I mean Jeffrey Combs (that always happens). So, of course, we’re super stoked to report that you can now see him all year long, live and on stage. He’s scheduled to perform Nevermore once a month at the Steve Allen Theater in Los Angeles through the end of the year. *Squeeeeee!!!*

If you haven’t seen this one man play stop what you’re doing and go see it now. Ok…maybe that was a little dramatic, but it’s so totally awesome that I couldn’t help myself. It’s an amazing peek through the window of time into what it must have really been like to see Edgar Allan Poe in person. Jeffrey gives an amazing performance of the man himself…not to mention the poetry.

We're extremely thrilled to announce that Jeffrey Combs will be bringing his one man show "Nevermore: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe" to the North Coast Rep Theater in Solana Beach, California. "Nevermore" is the critically acclaimed play written by Dennis Paoli and directed by Stuart Gordon. We've had the pleasure of seeing "Nevermore" in Austin and can simply say that it's a breathtaking experience. The play is set in 1848 and is loosely based on real events that follows Poe on a cross-country speaking tour fraught with strange occurrences that signal Poe's descent into madness.

We’re pleased to announce the third episode of our podcast called, “Life After Trek” featuring none other than Jeffrey Combs. Many of you know Jeffrey from his many and varied characters on Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, & Voyager. He's one of our absolute favorite actors worthy of his own Trek series, where in our minds, he plays every single character. We had the pleasure of spending time with Jeffrey while he was here in Austin during Fantastic Fest. He and "Re-animator" director Stuart Gordon were in town for showings of many of the films that they have collaborated on over the years. Jeffrey was also here to preform his one man show "Nevermore: An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe". We had the opportunity to catch a showing of "Nevermore" and can truly say that it was a breathtaking experience.

First off, let's start by wishing Jeffrey Combs a very Happy Birthday today!! We love ya!!

One of our favorite Star Trek actors of all time, Shran (I mean) Jeffrey Combs, will be performing his one man stage show "Nevermore" at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX near the end of this month. The show, which is described as "an evening with Edgar Allan Poe," harkens back to the end of Poe's life when he would give live readings of his stories on stage. Oh, shivers! Jeffrey Combs seems tailor made for this play (although we're pretty sure it was the other way around). Not only does he resemble the dark writer of old, but his famous facial expressions and acting prowess are sure to bring Poe back to life with a vigor (see what we did there?), and cause audiences to squeee with delight! We are certainly NOT going to miss this performance and we suggest you don’t either.

Oh Commander Shran, Brunt, Weyoun, Commander Suldok, and even Penk, how we love you. You're all so different and well rounded characters. It's amazing to us that you all spawn from the same acting genius. Who else could we be talking about other than the wonderfully talented Jeffrey Combs.

Jeffery Combs has to be one of our favorite Star Trek actors of all time.  He has played 9 different roles in the Star Trek universe and now you can see him in his one man show playing poet Edgar Allen Poe.  Called 'Nevermore . . .
