Paramount Pictures recently released a new flash game based on the upcoming 'Star Trek' movie. Called the 'Starfleet Academy Trainer', the game consists of simple 'tests' to 'measure your mental capacity, reactions, timing, quick mental arithmetic, problem solving and observational skills.'

As reported on The Insider, Zoe Saldana has always been a big sci-fi fan. "I’m a Star Wars fan, but I love the whole 'Alien' legacy. My favorite was the second one, because of Ripley [Sigourney Weaver]. She was such a feisty creature -- strong and still very motherly."

Zoe plays Uhura in the upcoming 'Star Trek' set for release May 7th.

Gizmodo asked it's readers to 'ruin the upcoming Star Trek movie'. With an outpouring of submissions, readers sent in everything from Jar-Jar Binks on the bridge of the enterprise to Worf as the Shamwow Guy. Sifting through the entries they've narrowed it down to 80 and awarded first, second, and third place.

Eric Bana, who plays Nero in the upcoming J.J. Abrams film 'Star Trek', will be featured in the May issue of Details Magazine. In the article he talks about living in Melbourne, life as a stand up comic, and his love for racing.

Esurance, the online auto insurance company, is presenting Star Trek Movie Night at AT&T Park on Monday, April 27, when the San Francisco Giants take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at 7:15 p.m. PT. Star Trek Movie Night celebrates the May 8 theatrical release of director J.J. Abrams' upcoming film, "Star Trek." The Iconfactory released today their first set of icons based on the new 'Star Trek' movie, in theaters May 8th. These icons include 3 folder icons themed after branches of Starfleet (Command, Sciences, and Engineering). The last icon is simply a trek folder icon containing the Starfleet Insiginia.

Paramount Pictures partnered with the Iconfactory to release several themed icons and wallpapers over a three week period..

Scifi Wire recently received a flash drive containing a new 'Star Trek' movie image and several desktop wallpapers. The new image is of an infant Spock from the upcoming movie. Also included were desktop wallpapers designed by Zuper Blahq.
