Cryptic Studios saw it fit to release a new screenshot, for the forthcoming Star Trek Online, featuring what looks like a UFP starship in borg infested space..  Like many other Trek fans, we are really anxious to get our hands on the game.  So, we literally eat up ever little release of info, screenshot or otherwise.

In her on going post-coverage of Vegas Con 2009, Nathalie Caron from Inside Trekker recaps the Leonard Nimoy & William Shatner panel from the last day of the convention.  Revealed, among other things, was The Shat's agreement to finally see Star Trek XI if his old buddy Nimoy 'brings the popcorn and holds his hand'.

Last month we reported on a special visit George Takei would be making to the Franklin Institute In Philadelphia on August 20th. The event was called 'An Evening with George Takei' and George was there to talk Star Trek, meet fans, sign autographs and take photos.

The Franklin institute currently houses Star Trek: The Exhibition and George was met by a sold out crowd of Trek fans.

Cryptic Studios held a press conference demo for Star Trek Online at GameCon 2009. During the demo, it was revealed that the Borg have indeed returned to the Alpha Quadrant and no matter what species you choose to play, you will either be in Starfleet or the Klingon Defense Force. Now, whether or not that last statement is true or just a slip of the tongue, is to be seen. Keep reading; we delve further into the confusion.

In a recent interview with SciFi Wire, Zachary Quinto talked frankly about the progress of the sequel to J.J. Abrams's 'Star Trek'.  'I don't think anybody's in a hurry' says Quinto, but he also reassurres fans telling 'Star Trek is a priority, certainly'.
