Wil Wheaton Wants To Know, Where's Carl?
Everyone's favorite ensign and internet wonderboy, Wil Wheaton, recently starred in a new short with The Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs. Recently? You ask... Well okay, so it was uploaded in July. I'm a little behind the times and the only reason I know anything about it is that Mary from DVD Geeks shared it today. Yeah she posted it to Google +, I think. Anyway, what do you want from me? This site's free. Get off my lawn!... My best guess is that the short was filmed at one of the Wizard World Comic-Cons, since both Chandler and Wil have been hitting the circuit pretty heavily. Whoops, scratch that, looks like it was filmed down under at an Aussie convention.
Geek Nation Tours & Larry Nemecek Team Up For Exploring Trek Sites: Hollywood To Vegas 2013 Tour
Earlier this year, two of our Trek friends joined forces to present a Vegas Khhaaan! tour-de-force. Tour being the operative word here. Next year, Geek Nation Tours and Trekland's own Larry Nemecek are partnering again for the special Exploring Trek Sites: Hollywood to Vegas tour. The 2013 version will include trips to Vasquez Rocks, Mojave Desert filming locales, and the Valley of Fire in Nevada were Captain James T. Kirk spent his last moments. Just like this year's tour, H2V 2013 will end at Creation Entertainment's Star Trek Las Vegas convention.

Who The Heck Is John Harrison? Benedict Cumberbatch In Star Trek Into Darkness
Yeah, we've guessed Gary Mitchell. Sure, we've said Landru or The Doomsday Machine. Heck, we've even thrown around The Horta, but who the heck is John Harrison? According to a recently released Paramount publicity still, that's who Benedict Cumberbatch is playing in Star Trek Into Darkness. Okay, okay, we get it. Maybe it's more of J.J's skillful subterfuge. Maybe it was released just to get the blogosphere (I so hate that word) whirring. Well, guess what kids? It worked.

Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer Released With Extneded Japanese Version
The first Trailers for Star Trek Into Darkness have hit the web and to us... it looks awesome. I'm still thinking that Benedict Cumberbatch is playing Gary Mitchell, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong. One of our readers posted a few days back that it could also be Garth of Izar. That looks compelling and is a good possibility too. Heck, who knows, it could be Khan. J.J. is a master of subterfuge. ..... KHHHAAAANN! Sorry, had to. Check out both versions of the trailer below including the extended footage Japanese trailer.

In the playful press release ArcTouch founder or Captain Eric Shapiro says: “Our team implemented a focused chroniton particle generator to open a temporal wormhole to the 24th century,” he continues, “We condensed 20 billion gigaquads of data about aliens, planets, and technology into a databank and created an app to access it.”
Data Beams In To GE's New Robotics Commercial
Thanks to our good friend Darren Benjamin from Trekcast for sending us this link. Everyone's favorite android from Star Trek: The Next Generation beams into the this new robotics advertisement from General Electric. Along with Data, we get to see old friends like Robbie The Robot, Johnny 5, K.I.T.T. (minus The Hoff), GERTY from Moon, and a ton of other recognizable artificial life. Called "Robots on the Move", the advert runs about a minute long and is showcasing GE's robotics division, I think. Anyway, I thought it was rather clever.
