The Shat To Debut New Documentary "William Shatner's Get A Life!" At San Diego Comic-Con

In what's a bit of surprise to us, William "Sir Billiam" Shatner is set to debut a new documentary called William Shatner's Get A Life! at San Diego Comic Con. According to IMDB, the new doc was filmed last year in Las Vegas. Could this be the same documentary that The Shat filmed at Vegas Khhaaan?.. Of course at the time it was a TV pilot documentary called FAN ADDICTS and was being produced by Creation Entertainment. The new documentary is an EPIX Original, just like The Captains, and will be debuted at his Comic-Con panel along with cult film director Roger Corman. Roger is also debuting an Epix original, his first 3D film Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader. The panel is set for July 14th and will moderated by none-other-than Kevin Smith.

Armin Shimerman Set To Play Ross In The Antaeus Company's Production Of "Macbeth" This Summer

The amazingly talented, and Life After Trek-er, Armin Shimerman will be taking on the role of Ross in The Antaeus Company's production of "Macbeth". As you may know, Ross is Macbeth's cousin and a Scottish Nobleman in the Bard's tale of treachery, murder, & mysticism. Like other Antaeus Company productions, Armin will be partnering the role with John Sloan. As an added note, Tessa Auberjonois (daughter of fellow DS9'er Rene Auberjonois) will be playing Lady M. in the production.

Paramount Pictures & Namco Bandai just announced, at E3, that The Gorn will be the main villain in a new video game based on the Star Trek JJ-verse. According to the press release; the storyline will pick up after the 2009 Star Trek film and will put players in the shoes of Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, in co-op style gameplay against the reptilian species. We're not going to hold out hope for a bamboo cannon.

Comicpalooza Houston 2012 Post Convention Wrap-up

Comicpalooza Houston 2012 Post Convention Wrap-up

After a whirlwind of a weekend, we here at Subspace Communique can look back on a fantastically fun and entertaining time at Houston's Comicpalooza. We spent the full three days traipsing the halls of the George R. Brown convention center in downtown Houston and learned a few things about ourselves and about a few guest stars. First off, Richard Hatch loves ribs... We saw the Battlestar Galactica star enjoying (more than once) some of the fine barbecue served in the vender area. Hey, I'm not pointing fingers here, I had my fair share too. Secondly, George Takei still smells fantastic. I passed Mr. Sulu, once again, and he smelled like a fresh spring day. Lastly, we learned that you should never go with a Jaffa to a second location... I'll just leave that there.

Star Trek's LeVar Burton Rear-ended By Police. Still Cool Under Pressure.

LeVar Burton, what can we say? He's a class act even when faced with TMZ cameras after a small fender-bender involving a police car. According to TMZ, LeVar was being pulled over for a moving violation yesterday when he was rear-ended by a patrol car. Good news is that no one got hurt and LeVar wasn't cited for the moving violation.
