The wildly popular "Trek in the Park", which had a three weekend run in Portland, Oregon last month, is back.  This time it's being held at the Bagdad Theater & Pub and is one night only.  If you're in Portland August 30th, don't miss out.  We hear it's hysterical.

The Bagdad Theatre & Pub at 3702 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd in Portland. will host the one-hour production at 8 p.m. Sunday. Following the performance will be a screening of this summer's "Star Trek" movie.

Captain's log, Stardate 4628.1. I've finally been able to carve out a little 'me' time and enjoy a fantastic cocktail...... Giles Aston, the best Picard impersonator to ever put on a man skirt, has put together a video detailing Captain Picard's favorite receipe for a warp speed champagne cocktail.  Love it!

As reported by the Vancouver Courier, a local Vancouver resident has started a Klingon Language meetup where he plans to teach spoken Klingon.

Sitting in a coffee shop at the corner of Broadway and Manitoba Street Monday afternoon, none of the patrons blink an eye at Charles Bae's yellow Star Trek uniform shirt, or even his replica ray gun.

Wired has posted another article in it's series of Great Geek Debates.  This time it's the ultimate showdown between Star Trek & Star Wars.  Trek fans unite!  We must defeat the evil menace and rid ourselves once and for all of this horrible blight. 

Thanks to our good friend Montgomery Scott, we now have a way to keep our whales in the cargo bay.  Well actually, an international team led by Oxford University scientists have found a way to turn normal aluminum into transparent aluminum using frickin' laser beams.

Surfing the web mostly ends in Viagra Ads or Facebook annoyances, but not today. Here's a little video we found on youtube that made us think, Holy Spock! This would be an awesome series. We would watch it 'til our eyes dried out.

Spending some time last night on twitter, I ran across a post by user @_Spock_  that caught my interest.  CarNewsArticles.com has posted a rather funny and interesting article tracing both Star Trek's & Chrysler's need for their Reliants to be successful.

While coasting around Youtube, we found several Star Trek related videos that we've never seen before. Always wanting to share with our fellow trekkers, we thought we would put together a simple post with links to some of the highlights.

The first video is a fantastic interview with our favorite bartender Quark. Well, Armin Shimmerman. He seems like a terrifically down-to-earth kinda guy. Being under his employ at Quarks bar for over 8 years, Darren Benjamin from Trekcast reaffirms that. Well, maybe he didn't work for Armin but he did work for Quark.
