'Amok Time' In The Park, Again!... Sort of.
The wildly popular "Trek in the Park", which had a three weekend run in Portland, Oregon last month, is back. This time it's being held at the Bagdad Theater & Pub and is one night only. If you're in Portland August 30th, don't miss out. We hear it's hysterical.
The Bagdad Theatre & Pub at 3702 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd in Portland. will host the one-hour production at 8 p.m. Sunday. Following the performance will be a screening of this summer's "Star Trek" movie.

Giles Aston, the best Picard impersonator to ever put on a man skirt, has put together a video detailing Captain Picard's favorite receipe for a warp speed champagne cocktail. Love it!

As reported by the Vancouver Courier, a local Vancouver resident has started a Klingon Language meetup where he plans to teach spoken Klingon.

While coasting around Youtube, we found several Star Trek related videos that we've never seen before. Always wanting to share with our fellow trekkers, we thought we would put together a simple post with links to some of the highlights.
The first video is a fantastic interview with our favorite bartender Quark. Well, Armin Shimmerman. He seems like a terrifically down-to-earth kinda guy. Being under his employ at Quarks bar for over 8 years, Darren Benjamin from Trekcast reaffirms that. Well, maybe he didn't work for Armin but he did work for Quark.
