As reported by Naplesnews.com, brand new Star Trek themed slot machines are making their way to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casinos.

Star Trek slots are set to “beam down” Thursday at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa as well as Seminole Casinos in Coconut Creek, Hollywood, Immokalee and Brighton.

The small town of Vulcan, Alberta has seen it share of Klingons since the early 90's.  According to a report in The Globe And Mail, Vulcan has seen a significant increase since the release of 'Star Trek'.

Project Natal isn't the first attempt at making a video game accessory that allows players to control the action on the screen with physical movements, but it's a quantum leap ahead of anything that's come before, accurately tracking a player's entire body in 3-D space, with face and voice recognition features to boot. It's the Star Trek holodeck in beta.
