Star Trek fans know Linda Park as Hoshi Sato, the communications office aboard the NX-01. Now you can find her on stage in Arthur Miller's classic All My Sons from now until December 18th at the Matrix Theater in Los Angeles. All My Sons is about Joe Keller and Steve Deever, partners in a machine shop during World War II, who knowingly turned out defective airplane parts that caused the deaths of many men. Now, the past has come back to haunt their families. Linda has taken on the role of Ann Deever, daughter of Steve Deever.

William Shatner Loves Fried Turkey... And Fire Safety
In a bid to save your arm hair William Shatner & State Farm Insurance have joined forces to spread the word about the dangers of deep frying a turkey this holiday season. Ya' know, everyone including The Shat loves the moist deliciousness that comes from taking a 20lb frozen turkey and dumping it in boiling oil, but there's a hidden danger that comes with the golden brown poultry goodness. “I love to fry turkey and have been doing it for years but I am not immune to frying accidents,” says Shatner. “In fact, my family now gathers together to watch my mishaps. Several years ago I was even burned on my arms after accidently dropping the turkey in the hot oil. People need to remember that hot oil and turkey can be a dangerous combination.”
J.J. Abrams Is "Focused" On Star Trek XII, But We May Not See It Until 2013
We've been a bit hesitant to post news about the upcoming sequel to J.J. Abrams's Star Trek simply because there's been a real lack of it. Sure, we've seen that Zachary Quinto is shifting into gear for his return as Spock and that Anton Yeltchin is excited about returning to his role as Chekov. Oh, and the news of Benicio Del Toro being courted for a possible villain role (more on that in a few days) but not much real news is being shared about Star Trek XII. I did find something today that I found at least somewhat newsworthy, it seems that the next installment of the J.J.verse is being pushed back from it's June 29th, 2012 release date to sometime in 2013.
Cryptic Wanted Star Trek Online To Be Free-To-Play From The Beginning
Cryptic's Star Trek Online was released nearly two years ago to good reviews and moderate fan acceptance. According to Executive Producer & Cheif Technical Officer Stephen D'Angelo, Cryptic intended to release STO as a free-to-play MMO from the begriming, but Atari wouldn't have it. He tells IGN; "We've always wanted the game to be free-to-play, in fact we tried to make it free-to-play at the original launch, but our publisher didn't want us doing that so we didn't do that."
New "Trek Nation" Trailer Featuring Nichelle Nichols & George Lucas
The long awaited release of the Star Trek documentary Trek Nation is getting closer and if you're like me, you can't wait. Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry has been working on the film for some time now and from what we've seen and heard, it's been an amazing journey for him. In the most recent trailer, exclusively released to the Perez Hilton website, Rod talks about his father Gene & the Trek legacy; "It wasn't until after he passed away that I realized that Star Trek actually touched people." The new clip also shows the lovely Nichelle Nichols and clips of an interview with Star Wars creator George Lucas.
