Leonard Nimoy & Wil Wheaton In Seatle This Weekend!
Well we're a little late to the game, but apparently Leonard Nimoy and Wil Wheaton are guests at the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seatle this weekend. If you live in or near Seatle and are just hearing about this (like us) you still have one more day to catch Spock and young Wesley Crusher.
Here's a quick breakdown of their appearance schedule for tomorrow.

Spock Is Heading To Vulcan... Canada

Leonard Nimoy is heading to a very special place in the Great White North. It seems that Spock is having a home coming of sorts in the small Alberta town of Vulcan. March April 23rd is the arrival date and it looks like quite an event is in the works.
According to the Vulcan Advocate, Mr. Nimoy will arrive at 2:30pm on the 23rd Local and officials, including Tom Grant, the mayor of Vulcan, will get a chance to meet him.
Shortly after, starting at around 3 p.m., Nimoy will be part of the parade, which will start at the Tourism and Trek Station and run down to the intersection on Centre Street and Third Avenue.
Patrick Stewart On Robert Llewellyn's "CarPool" Podcast
So, I don't know how we missed this, but Patrick Stewart was recently on an episode of Robert Llewellyn's "CarPool" podcast. Robert Llewellyn, as you may or may not know, played Kryten on the wildly popular BBC SciFi series "Red Dwarf". Now he's an internet superstar with his special brand of video podcasting.
William Shatner Launches A Social Network for Creatives Looking to Work in SciFi
William Shatner is a renaissance man of sorts. He's an actor, of course, pitchman, equestrian, businessman, author, producer, director, and captain of a flippin' starship! Well, now you can add internet entrepreneur to the list. The Shat just launched a brand new social network for artists in the SciFi genre called MyOuterSpace.com.
Star Trek Wins Oscar For Best Makeup. You Bet Your Pointed Ears!
We've been covering and complaining about Star Trek's lack of Oscar nominations this year. Though, one nomination has stood out from the crowd, Best Achievement in Makeup. Well after 31 years of Star Trek movie making, the franchise started by the Great Bird of the Universe finally got it's due.
Shore Leave 32 Star Trek Roster Thus Far
Convention season is quickly approaching. We're even getting in high gear already for Vegas Con, but there is one convention we would love to visit. Shore Leave 32 is set for July 9-11, 2010 and is known to be one of the biggest fan run conventions on the giant blue marble. This year's guest list is already starting to shape up. Star Trek Online: Special Task Force 1 Available
We've been playing Star Trek Online like a tribble eats quadrotriticale. While we were eating everything and reproducing, Cryptic has been busy putting together a new series of raids called, "Special Task Force". This first installment, entitled infected, involves our favorite space zombies, the Borg. Check out the details and screenshot below.
In "Infected," you'll travel to the Sibiran system to investigate Starbase 82, a Federation space station that has ceased communicating with Starfleet. As you arrive, you're in for a true nightmare scenario: The Borg have taken Starbase 82, and are in the process of assimilating the people aboard!
