Ah darn it, you missed you chance to pick up one of the biggest pieces of Star Trek memorabilia.  Connor Trinneer's house was on the market, but just sold for a cool $1.1 million.  The lack of Jefferies tubes is what stopped us from picking it up.

Actor Connor Trinneer, the commander on the TV prequel " Star Trek: Enterprise," and his wife, Ariana, have sold their Franklin Village Craftsman for $1.1 million.

As reported by Wired, Michael Okuda will receive the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal for his work on multiple exploration missions. According to the space program, the medal recognizes “exceptional contributions to the mission of NASA.”

With the announcement of Microsoft's Project Natal yesterday at E3, Steve Tilly of the London Free Press got a sneak peek and calls it holodeck beta.

Project Natal isn't the first attempt at making a video game accessory that allows players to control the action on the screen with physical movements, but it's a quantum leap ahead of anything that's come before, accurately tracking a player's entire body in 3-D space, with face and voice recognition features to boot. It's the Star Trek holodeck in beta.

Q: I read that you once wanted to be a professional skier?

A: I was pretty outdoorsy. And yeah, that was my plan, professional skier or a poet, if you can imagine that. That was the fall-back position if the skiing didn't work out, I'd make a living as a poet.

Q: So, do you still ski?
