The Design Of 'Star Trek's' Interactive Displays
As reported by Information Aesthetics, the visual design company OOOiii was responsible for creating the information displays on the bridge of the new enterprise. Apparently, which was a shocker to us, the displays were live and interactive for the cast to manipulate.

Playmates Says More 'Star Trek' Action Figures On The Way
As reported by Action Figure Insider, Playmates Toys has more 'Star Trek' action figures in the works. We could see a new Kirk & Scotty Galaxy Collection figures as soon as August. And, if sales support it we could see 'Star Trek' figures all the way through 2010 with possible USS Kelvin charaters.

The trailer for "Star Trek" was named best in show and also took home the Summer 2009 Blockbuster Award at the 10th annual Golden Trailer Awards, which were held Thursday night at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles.
Takei To Play The Emperor of China In 'Aladdin'
As reported by Kentonline.co.uk, George Takei is set to play the Emperor of China in a pantomime version of 'Aladdin' at The Central Theatre, Chatham, UK.
The veteran actor will star in his first ever pantomime, playing The Emperor of China in this year’s production of Aladdin.
Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan Comic Preview
Comics Continuum has four page preview of the upcoming Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan comic. The preview includes the comic depiction of Lt. Saavik's famous Kobayashi Maru test at the begining of the film.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan #1 will arrive in stores on June 10 from IDW Publishing. The issue is written by Andy Schmidt, with art by Chee Yang Ong and a cover by Chee, along with a photo cover.
