As the four-issue mini-series progresses, events alluded to in Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan fall into place. Highlights include the explosion of Ceti Alpha Six, the death of Khan's wife and the story of a power struggle within Khan's group. The mini-series concludes with the arrival of Captain Terrell and first officer Pavel Chekov from the U.S.S. Reliant

Warehouse 13 Stores Up A Stockpile Of Star Trek Alums

It’s looking like season 3 of Warehouse 13 is turning out to be one of the best places to watch your favorite Star Trek alumni strut their stuff. So far, TV Guide says that Kate Mulgrew (Voyager), Jeri Ryan (Voyager), and Rene Auberjonois (DS9) are making appearances (or in some cases “re”appearances ) during the upcoming season.

Star Trek Voyager's Jeri "Seven of Nine" Ryan debuts as a bride named Amanda on Aug. 1, while Kate "Captain Janeway" Mulgrew begins her four-episode run as Warehouse protector Jane in September. Both characters share a shocking connection to a series regular.

Also look for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Rene Auberjonois to reprise his role from last season as computer expert Hugo Miller. "We discover a little bit more about his past, too," Kenny says.

Star Trek’s Sir Patrick Stewart To Receive Honorary Degree

It’s starting to look like every Star Trek captain will get an honorary degree this year. First it was Captain Kirk aka William Shatner who received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from McGill University, his alma mater. Now, it seems as though it’s Captain Picard’s turn. Sir Patrick Stewart will receive an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of East Anglia, this July.

UEA Registrar and Secretary Brian Summers said: “We present honorary degrees to those who have made a remarkable contribution to the arts, science, sport, and civil society. This July we will bring together 14 highly acclaimed and distinguished individuals who richly deserve this recognition.”

The honorary degrees will be awarded at this year’s graduation ceremonies which take place from July 19 to 22 at the University of East Anglia.

Sir Patrick Stewart OBE is one of Britain’s best loved actors, best known for his film roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film series.
