Pop Culture Zoo has just a posted a picture preview of the second wave of 'Star Trek' toys due out this fall.

As reported by Action Figure Insider, Playmates Toys has more 'Star Trek' action figures in the works.  We could see a new Kirk & Scotty Galaxy Collection figures as soon as August. And, if sales support it we could see 'Star Trek' figures all the way through 2010 with possible USS Kelvin charaters.

While searching through youtube last night looking for the infamous 'Stage 9 Interlopers' video (which has been taken down), we stumbled upon several retro commercials for the old Mego line of Star Trek toys.

The clips feature commercials for ships from 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture', ST:TMP communicator, figures from TOS, and a TOS Phaser game. Plus, we found a super cool video of a fan made bridge scaled for the Mego figures with working lights and sounds. Enjoy.

As reported by Fiber2Fashion.com, Cufflinks Inc. has released an officially licensed set of cufflinks featuring the Starfleet delta shield.  Other designs are slated for a summer release.

Cufflinks Inc is debuting a line of Star Trek branded Cufflinks, licensed from CBS Consumer Products, for a Spring 2009 release.

As reported by Examiner.com, Master Replicas has been Acquired by Factory Entertainment.  Know for their higher end prop replicas and ship models including Star Trek licensed items, Master Replicas has hit hard times as of late and this acquisition could save the brand.
