New Star Trek Poster Release From Bye Bye, Robot…6 Star Trek Movie Lithographs!

We’re super stoked to announce the launch of Bye Bye, Robot’s newest prints. Six new TOS lithographs!

These new posters, by artist Matt Ferguson, are inspired by all of The Original Series movies, and every one is a unique visual representation of the story told within the films.

“Attendees were thrilled to get first access to Ferguson’s new prints when we premiered them at the official Las Vegas Star Trek Convention, recently,” says Charity Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye, Robot.  “We’re so excited to have this new set of movie posters to add to our gallery. They are just what our collectors have been asking for.”

The prints are designed to be reminiscent of the old movie-house posters we are familiar with from the past. Their height and width proportions convey the vintage styling of a bygone era. The restricted yet rich color palette Ferguson uses, brings these 6 designs together as a unified set, while their imagery shows off every story’s distinctiveness.

Along with the inclusion of the individual titles, each print contains the essence of its respective plot. From the character portraits of Leonard Nimoy as Spock, and Ricardo Montalban as Khan, to the ship portraits of the Klingon Bird-of-Prey, the U.S.S. Excelsior and the U.S. S. Enterprise, we see the major components to each story portrayed in such a way as to inspire a visceral response in each viewer.

“These new lithographs are a striking combination of retro movie-poster design and Ferguson’s own personal style,” mentions Chris Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye, Robot. “They give the viewer a glimpse into the heart of each of the films, and bring to mind the wonderful memories we all have of watching these movies for the first time.”

Printed on heavyweight 100lb paper and under license by CBS Consumer Products, each new lithograph is 12”x24” and is available individually for $25, or sold together as a set of six, for the discounted price of $125. They are available for purchase today from byebyerobot.com at the prices listed above, plus shipping.
