Brand New Star Trek: Deep Space Nine & Star Trek: The Original Series Posters From Bye Bye, Robot

Our sister site, ByeByeRobot.com, just launched two fantastic new posters by artists Jeff Foster & Drew Johnson. In its first ever Star Trek: Deep Space Nine release, The Robot procured an impressionist style rendition of the beloved station. "Before it was DS9, it was Terok Nor" is the tagline for Jeff Foster's "Terok Nor" poster which features the station on a space field background with a subtle hint of the celestial temple.

The other brand new release from The Robot features the quintessential Star Trek: The Original Series away mission in an expressionistic style from artist Drew Johnson. Perfectly entitled "Landing Party", the new poster features the silhouetted TOS crew beaming down to an M class planet with large gold paint swaths as the transporter beam.

Both new posters are printed on heavy weight acid free archival paper and measure 18" x 24" in size. You can get your copy of "Terok Nor" or "Landing Party" for $25 each from ByeByeRobot.com.

Austin, Texas – June 14, 2013 Bye Bye,Robot is announcing the launch of two new Star Trek posters. The first poster, “Landing Party” by artist Drew Johnson, features the iconic crew from Star Trek: The Original Series in the process of beaming while on an away mission. We see a grand view of the alien world while hinting at each character’s essence during the transport. Along with Drew’s new “Landing Party,” his other prints (previously only available as 12x16”) are now available as 18x24”.

“Collectors were thrilled to see Drew’s new print when we sneak-previewed it at Comicpalooza, in Houston last month,” mentions Charity Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye, Robot.  “It’s wonderful watching this series of posters continue to expand. We’re excited to keep adding to the collection!”

The second poster being released is “Terok Nor” by artist Jeff Foster. Terok Nor” (the name by which Cardassians knew Deep Space Nine) is 18x24” and depicts the DS9 space station poised in the foreground with a hint of the stable wormhole in the distance, all within Jeff’s signature style of modern impressionism.

“We’re excited to offer the next print of Jeff Foster’s impressionist style paintings,” says Chris Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye, Robot.  “This colorful depiction of DS9 captured in a multitude of blue hues is especially meaningful with this year being the 20th anniversary of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The timing is absolutely impeccable!”
