We, here at Subspace Communique, are huge fans of Nichelle Nichols (you’re thinking…”no duh?”). She’s such a class act, so talented, and so giving that we didn’t think we could admire her any more than we already did…until today.

Today she made an announcement that she would mail (for free, to ANY country) an autographed photo to the first 1,000 people that donate $50 or more to any organization listed on usaid.gov, the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID). 

Here’s what she had to say, “Starting today (3/18) – The first 1,000 people that donate $50 or more to any organization listed on http://usaid.gov/ I will sign & mail an autographed photo to you! I do this in honor of my dear friend George Takei & his family. Just email a copy of your donation receipt dated 3/18 or later to me @ nnsharethetrek@gmail.com and I will mail an autographed photo to you.”

She goes on to say, “I will take care of the postage – no matter what country you may reside in.”

Considering her history of service and support to others, her autograph offer shouldn’t surprise us. But we still find ourselves sitting here, completely blown away by her generosity!
