Looks like Amazon has a special edition version of J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek' in the works. 

As reported by The HD Room, Amazon will be selling it's own exclusive  limited edition version that includes the film on Blu-ray Disc + digital copy, a large black outer case, a metal or pewter replica of the Enterprise on a Federation logo base, and a certificate of authenticity.

Online retailer Amazon.com has covertly added a new sku for the upcoming release of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek on Blu-ray Disc.

The new listing is for an "Amazon.com Limited Edition Replica Gift Set" created around the Blu-ray release. Judging by the pictures because there is no written description, the set will include the film on Blu-ray Disc, a large black outer case, a metal or pewter replica of the Enterprise on a Federation logo base, and a certificate of authenticity.

The Blu-ray Disc is expected to be identical to the standalone offering. Until Amazon updates their pre-order page we will not know how many of these were made or the precise contents. The page does tell us the set is selling for $90.99.  (source The HD Room)
