As we slowly approach the upcoming closed beta for Star Trek Online, Cryptic is releasing more detailed information that gives a look into the inner-workings of ST:O.  Tonight we get what seems to be a an overview of in-game ships, crew, and bridge officers.  Check out the details below.

Hey guess what?  More Star Trek Online screenshots for you to peruse.  Both ZAM! and Massively.com have uploaded new shots that include a few more fantastic Starfleet ship shots and a couple of the Borg.  Resistance is futile.

The frequency of ST:O screenshot releases are increasing daily it seems, making us more and more anxious to get our hands on the game.  This time Curse.com has five new screens for your Andorian pleasure. (You thought I was going to say Vulcan, see how I changed it there?)  Check out the low-res version below.

Massively.com just posted five new Star Trek Online screens.  These include four space battle shots with Starfleet vs. Klingon, Starfleet vs. Borg, Starfleet vs. Romulan, and what we suspect as Starfleet vs. Cardassian. 

As reported by Kotaku, for a limited time the season 3 Blu-ray release of Star Trek: The Original Series season 3 will include a promotional key to unlock a special admiral uniform in Star Trek Online.

Cryptic Studios has been busy lately adding more updates to StarTrekOnline.com.  On top of taking closed beta applications, they have also released a brand new screen shot, a new starfleet ship class, a new addition to the Kobayashi Maru, & a another dev chat.

Star Trek Online has had a flurry of activity surrounding it lately. It's all due to the upcoming beta, plus the convention circuit Cryptic has been touring as of late.
