Jonathan Frakes & Wil Wheaton Return To The Small Screen Plus More Star Trek Actor News
First off, if you're reading this right after it hits the web and you live in the Mountain or Pacific time zones, you still have time to catch it. Tonight at 9pm, wonder boy and nerd impresario Wil Wheaton will be returning to TNT's hit show "Leverage". So, run, set your DVR and then come back and read the rest of the article. We set? Good. Wil's not the only TNG alumni to be returning to the small screen. Number One, or Jonathan Frakes as some folks call him, will be guest starring on "NCIS: Los Angeles" this Tuesday (December 14th) at 9/8central. As many of you know, Jonathan Frakes has been behind the camera for several years with only the sporadic appearance in the limelight. Keep an eye out for him as Navy Commander Dr. Stanfill. Unfortunately there's no news on how large the role will be or if Frakes will see much screen time, but if you miss the airing, you can always catch it streaming on CBS.com.

Opening on January 23rd, the tickets are on sale now for the exhibition that features sets, costumes, priceless museum pieces and props from all five Star Trek television series and 11 Star Trek feature films.
Visitors can sit in Captain Kirk’s chair from the Enterprise, featured in Star Trek: The Original Series. The object-based exhibition is divided into topic galleries emphasizing themes of science that the creators of Star Trek explored on screen.

Data Feed: DIY Star Trek Inspired Sliding Doors
So, have you ever wanted sliding doors? Okay, I know, that's a silly question. You're a Star Trek fan, of course you want sliding doors. We'll we've found an actual DIY project that can bring a bit of the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th centuries to your home. These doors are definitely more Enterprise inspired than say TNG, because you have to push a button to open them, but you've got to start some where. It seems that all you need is an air compressor, sliding door accessories, pneumatic tubes and hoses, and some know-how and you're set. So, maybe you'll need a few more things than that, but still amazingly cool and trek-tastic none-the-less.
Starbase Indy, Star Trek Con 2010 Post Convention Wrap-up
So, it's been about a week now since Starbase Indy 2010 concluded for another year and we're just now pulling together all of our photos and video of this fantastic fan run con. We had a blast at Indy and would highly recommend it to everyone, especially you, our readers. If you're like us and simply dig a great time hanging in a comfortable environment with like minded Trek fans who love to have fun, SBI is the place for you. Since SBI is a smaller convention, than say a Creation event or Comic-con, it's a much more intimate setting with both the fans and the stars. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about Starbase Indy the convention, as well as the fine folks that run the con. We'll be back next year!
Star Trek DS9's Alexander Siddig On Returning To Scifi "This Is Just Like Coming Home"
All of you know Alexander Siddig as our kindly Dr. Julian Bashir aboard Deep Space Nine, but Alexander has had quite a film career after leaving the sick bay. From serious film roles in "Syriana" & "Kingdom of Heaven" to scifi / fantasy films "like Clash of the Titans" & "Reign of Fire", Alexander has yet to make a permanent move back to the small screen & episodic TV, until now. Starting early next year you'll be able to catch Alexander in the ITV series "Primeval". Launching in season 4 (or series 4, as the British say) he'll be joining and running the ARC as Phillip Burton. Not familiar with "Primeval"? The show follows a team of five scientists tasked with investigating the appearance of temporal anomalies across Great Britain through which prehistoric and futuristic creatures enter the present.

Star Trek Online "Ask Cryptic" With Cryptic Studios Saying, The Game Will Be "More like Star Trek"
Cryptic Studios just released another installment in their ongoing series "Ask Cryptic". These popular monthly question and answer sessions give Star Trek Online players a chance to ask Executive Producer Dan Stahl questions about the future of the MMO. In this month's edition Cryptic Studios is saying that their new internal motto is "More like Star Trek". Dan elaborates by saying "This includes more story, more locations and factions from the universe, and generally more elements that allow the game to feel like the shows." We can say that this is definitely good news. Players are also asking about crew improvements, delving into the Delta Quadrant, PVP updates, Vulcan & Andorian ship additions, and much more.
