On a recent trip to Etsy.com we noticed lots of Star Trek inspired handy crafts.  What really caught our eye was the vast amount of Spock inspired items.  Here are a few links to some of the Vulcan-ized items that we found.

As reported by Computer World, a precursor to the universal translator is in the works. Called the Sakhr Mobile Speech-to-Speech, the software enables a smartphone user to translate from English to Arabic and Arabic to English just by speaking into the phone.

In a recent interview, 'Star Trek' actor Chris Pine talks about how Trek is an 'Optimistic Series' with a 'real sub-current of great ideas'.

Star Trek star Chris Pine has revealed that he could not understand why the famous film has appealed to so many people, as he was never a fan of the original sci-fi series.

Chris, 28, plays the role of Captain James T Kirk in the blockbuster sci-fi film, which was released earlier this year.

The space-mullet wearing fellas over at Den of Geek! have released their review of 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan' on Blu-ray.  In the review they discuss the finer points of the moive itself as well as the actually transfer and HD quality of the disc.
