Bye Bye Robot Launches New TOS Themed Poster Of Khan’s SS Botany Bay
Look out Khan! We’ve got your ship! …and now you, at home, can have it too. We’re very pleased to announce Bye Bye Robot’s newest officially licensed Star Trek poster release, “SS Botany Bay” by illustrator Mark Brayer.
This new poster, “SS Botany Bay”, is the first in a new series of vintage ships created in a retro 50’s draftsman style. With a background in magazine, comic book, and book cover art, Mark blends his technique into a classic science fiction style reminiscent of mid last century…right during the birth of modern sci-fi.
This vibrant and energetic 16x24” poster features Khan’s foreboding ship as seen in the TOS episode, “Space Seed”. It is printed on acid-free, heavyweight coverstock, and is available at ByeByeRobot.com for $25 plus shipping.
“Working with Mark and the new series of prints is awesome,” says Chris Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye Robot. “His unique draftsman-type style is perfect for the vintage ships, and the anticipation of the other posters, in the new series, is palpable.”
