Larry Nemecek Finds The Z-Man Alive & Well In Bozeman
As you all know, First Contact Day celebrations we're held by Trek fans all over the world on April 5th. Yes, we were to busy celebrating to write anything, but let's just say we did the Z-man proud. Our good friend Larry Nemecek did one better than just report about First Contact day, he went out and found the possible future warp engineer in Bozeman, Montana.
Over at his Trekland Blog Larry explains: I called the Bozeman Daily Chronicle today just to check whether there were any local First Contact Day celebrations or even fan meetups. Unfortunately no doings were a transpiring. It just so happens that the city editor for the paper was a huge Trek fan and explained how he and his wife came up with a creative name for their young son.
"In fact, we named my son 'Zefram," he said with a chuckle, speaking of his 16-month-old (above). "If he really gets on it, here in another 50 years or so, we just might have a warp drive."
We don't want to give too much away, so be sure to head over to Larry's article to check out the full story.
