Hang on to your hats and glasses cuz Patrick Stewart is coming to Dallas! That’s right kiddies, Sir Patrick Stewart is scheduled to appear at the Dallas, TX Comic Con on May 19-20, 2012. And seriously, if you’re anywhere near Texas, stop on by, where else can you see Patrick Stewart for fifteen bucks? If you aren’t familiar with it, Dallas ComicCon is another of the spectacular fan run conventions out there that give the attendees (i.e. you guys) a more up close and personal time with the celebrities. The venue is smaller, the seating is closer, and the photo op lines aren’t nearly as long as others. All of this adds up to a ton of fun for all the fans.

So far the Dallas Comic Con’s major headliners are Patrick Stewart (come on, you know who he is), Stan Lee (Marvel artist, extraordinaire), Dave Prowse (the man behind the Darth Vader mask), and Adam West & Burt Ward (the Dynamic Duo). That’s a pretty rad line up already. We can’t wait to see who else is added along the way.

“Ok,” you say, “That’s May, but what can you offer to me before then?” Well, they have you covered for that too. If you’re jones’n for sci-fi fun before May, try and catch their sooner show - February 11-12, 2012, the SciFi Expo. So far they have almost half of the cast of Firefly attending. Sure…they’re not Star Trek…but they’re still really cool.

Heck, you may even see us there. If you do, stop us and say hi and we’ll give you some Subspace Communique stickers just for being your sweet self.
