William Shatner's new book "Shatner Rules: Your Guide to Understanding the Shatnerverse and the World at Large" is available now for your reading pleasure and he recently sat down with USA Today to discuss the new book and his life in general.  If you haven't heard of "Shatner Rules", it's listed as This collection of rules, illustrated with stories from Bill's illustrious life and career.  It will show you how Bill became William Shatner, larger than life and bigger than any role he ever played. I fully admit it, I would love to be more Shatneresque!  I mean, I'm not even half his age and I honestly don't think I could keep up with the pace Sir Billiam (yes, it will eventually catch on) sets.  Hey Bill, remember that guy you said hi to at the little bar in the Rio last August?  That was me, thanks for shinning your aura my way...

Bill states; "'Shatner Rules' is an amusing read.  Many of the rules are tongue-in-cheek rules, but in there amusement is a truth.  I propose that if you're 80, or more or less, the rule is get out of bed and take one step and put it ahead of the other."

Bill even talks about the many sides of Shatner.  Even the character we loving call The Shat; "There's a character out there called William Shatner and he's a cocky know-it-all, who is very absorbed in himself… That's not really me.  I'm Bill."
