Just like you, we're really anticipating William Shatner's upcoming documentary The Captains that is set to air on EPIX, July 22nd. While you wait on bated breath, you can be a part of the longest khan scream in history, plus win some awesome Shatner schwag. EPIX is giving you until July 11th the end of the summer to record yourself screaming KHHAAANN! for seven full seconds and upload it to thelongkhan.com. The Long Khan will be revealed to the world July 11th and any ew videos uploaded after the launch date and will continue to be added all summer long.

Here's the really cool part, the first 10 Subspace Communique readers to record their KHHAAANN! scream, upload it to thelongkhan.com, and paste your unique Long Khan url in the comments to this article will win a poster and t-shirt for The Shat's new documentary The Captains. We're looking forward to seeing screams worthy of Khan himself. Check out more details below.

How to upload:
Record yourself on video screaming “Khaaan!” for at least 7 seconds, and be sure to start your scream immediately after you start recording. Then fill out the form on thelongkhan.com and upload your video. Accepted video file formats are avi, 3gp, flv, mp4, m4v, wmv, mpeg, vp6, and h.264. Maximum file size is 10mb.

There's also a tutorial that you can check out here. Try to refrain from profanity or inappropriate behavior in your video. Apparently, there's only one four letter word that can be used, and that's Khan.

When your video officially becomes part of the Long Khan, you will receive an email with a direct link to the Long Khan featuring your scream after Captain Kirk’s.

Simply copy the direct link you received in the email and paste it in the comments below. The first 10 submissions by July 22nd will win a The Captains poster and t-shirt.
