Today, along with all of you guys, we heard that Netflix is soon going to be offering Star Trek (most, if not all of the TV series) as “Play It Now”. Awesome! …Now what?! Oh, right…we wait. That’s right, as Trek-tastic as Play It Now will be in the future, (and since I don’t happen to have a Klingon Bird of Prey sitting around waiting for a trip around the sun) it doesn’t really help satiate my Trek craving now.

Well, never fear! Star Trek is here! StarTrek.com has full episodes of TOS, Enterprise, and yes…The Animated Series available for streaming, right now. The Animated Series, though often relegated to the back burner, is actually voiced by most of the original cast and boasts storylines that entertain even the most seasoned fan. I think I’m going to take this opportunity to get to know the cartoon that I fondly remember from my childhood, and all of its Cel-Vinyl gloriousness!
