Remember Star Trek: The Experience With The Intergalactic Bartender

Remember Star Trek: The Experience With The Intergalactic Bartender

We've all pined away for Star Trek: The Experience to make its triumphant return. In fact, just like many of you out there, we hang on every bit of news that comes out of Vegas that might hint at ST:TE's emergence from its long slumber. Sure, we can't sit at Quark's bar and order food and drink, but we can do the next best thing. Make familiar drinks at home in out-of-this-world glassware.

The Intergalactic Bartender offers many of your familiar favorites from ST:TE as well as iconic bar-ware & accessories that can send you right down memory lane. From "Security Breaches" & "Beamin' Martinis" to "Lunar Libations" & "Supergalactic Shots" the Intergalactic Bartender: Bartender's Guide gives easy instructions on how to make the galaxy-famous drinks in your own quarters. First published in 2009 by the The Gaitsey-Benjamin Publishing Group, the Bartenders Guide draws drink name inspiration from "Star Trek", "Star Wars", "Battlestar Galactica", & other scifi and is available in pocket / paperback form for $10 from the IGB website  here.

You can also enjoy your libations in glassware reminiscent of that used at Quark's Bar & Grill. The most iconic of all the drinks from Quark's has to be the "Warp Core Breach" and its giant bowl with steaming dry ice. Now called the "Security Breach" both the recipe and bowl are available from IGB...but you have to provide your own dry ice. Check out images of the glassware offered by IGB below.

We just love the fact that IGB offers us the chance to relive memories from one of our favorite places on earth, Star Trek: The Experience. Show your Trek love and help support another fan-run enterprise... no pun intended.
