LeVar Burton, our dear Geordi LaForge, is set to host a special presentation at the Housatonic Community College Alumni Hall of Fame Gala November 21st. 

Also on the Housatonic Campus, there will be a special showing of Star Trek: Insurrection  on Monday, Nov. 16 at 2 and 6:30 p.m. in the Beacon Hall events center.

According to Wikipedia, Housatonic Community College (HCC) is a two-year public college located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Event Description
Black tie event will include the induction of three distinguished honorees into the newly formed "Alumni Hall of Fame" followed by dinner, dancing and a special presentation by LeVar Burton, star of the mini-series Roots; host of the highly acclaimed PBS children's series Reading Rainbow; and co-star of the Emmy award-winning Star Trek: The Next Generation.
