Spock & Kirk Are Like Brothers

As reported by Digital Spy,in a recent news conference J.J. Abrams referred to the new movie as a story of two brothers.
"The thing about Kirk and Spock is that they are each, separately full of great potential, but it's not until they come together as a team that they accomplish almost anything," he explained.
"To me, the key to the movie is that friendship. My approach to the movie was almost a story of two brothers. I just thought that it was their relationship that was the spine of the film." (source Digital Spy)
