John Cho Talks About Sulu and Trek
As reported on Hollywood Today, John Cho (Sulu) was concerned that some Japanese-Americans might take issue with the fact that Sulu was being played by a Korean-American as opposed to a Japanese-American. So, he took the issue to George Takei.
'Star Trek' To Be Featured in July Issue of Cinefex.
Cinefex, a quarterly professional magazine dedicated to special effects, will feature the forthcoming move 'Star Trek' in it's next issue. Covering in detail both physical and CGI special effects, the article will give a behind the scenes look into the making of the new J.J. Abrams directed film.

Go Trek Yourself
A new site just hit our sensors: Trekyourself.com.
Apparently the fine folks at kelloggs have given us earthlings the chance to become Vulcan, Romulan, or a Starfleet Officer while pushing Cheez-its. (We especially like the Cheez-its flying past at full impulse)
You can upload your picture and have it then magically transformed into the species of you choice. Also, you have the ability to enter a message and then send it to someone.
Check it out here.
Troops Get A Sneak Peek of 'Star Trek'
Soliders, Sailors, Airman, and Marines in Kuwait get a sneak preview of 'Star Trek'. As reported on Armytimes.com.
The troops will get an extra treat at AAFES’ Reel Time Theater: The actors playing the new recruits on the Starship Enterprise will also attend — Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Nero (Eric Bana), Dr. McCoy (Karl Urban) and Lt. Sulu (John Cho). Director J.J. Abrams also will be on hand.
CSI: Kronos?
Not really, CSI joins the ranks of other TV shows to spoof Trekdom. In an episode scheduled to air April 16, Hodges (Wallace Langham) and Wendy (liz Vassey AKA Captain Liberty) run into each other at a convention for a Trekesque show. Apparently someone dies, imagine that, and they have to investigate said murder. I say the ferengi did it. (source Scifi Wire)
