The Shat's "Aftermath" Is Set For An August Premiere
William Shatner, man about town, is hosting a brand new show, his second, for the BIO channel that we originally reported on back in May. It appears that "Aftermath" is set to premiere on August 2nd at 10PM ET/ 9PM CT/ 11PM PT. The new show takes Viewers back to the dramatic events that dominated the american news cycle as Shatner gains exclusive access to the news makers at the Heart of each story.
According to the official press release, "Aftermath" takes an in-depth look at what happens when people are tragically or infamously transformed from unknown citizens into household names overnight. Stories like those of Jessica Lynch, Bernhard Goetz And the DC snipers put previously unknown names on the minds of every American, and Shatner intends to find out how the lives of all those directly affected by these cases have changed forever.
"Shatner's Aftermath" is produced by GRB Entertainment. Executive Producers for GRB are Gary Benz, Michael Branton, Ted Haimes and William Shatner. Executive Producers for A&E are Robert Sharenow and Andy Berg.
The Shat says that he'll "examine old wounds and see where the scar tissue lies." and "explore strange new worlds". Okay, maybe we added that last part.
