Alexander Rozhenko In Trouble With The Law
Brian Bonsall, famous for playing Alexander Rozhenko in TNG and Andy Keaton In Family Ties, was arrested over the weekend on a felony assault charge. All jokes aside, it's pretty sad when a former child star runs into trouble with drug / alcohol / legal problems. If convicted Brian could face a good deal of time in jail. Check out more details in the article excerpt below.
Colorado Daily reports that the 28-year-old is currently facing third-degree assault charges for hitting his friend in the face with a bar stool. It's not just that, he's actually been wanted by the cops for years. Brian Bonsall has already skipped a court hearing in July 2008, further damaging his case.
Apparently, the actor has had several troubling occasions with the authorities. He's had an arrest for drunk driving in 2004, another one for assaulting his girlfriend in 2007 and another account of failure to appear in court for the latter.
In this recent case, the police decided to wait for Bonsall at the house of his "best friend" 1121 11th St. in Boulder. The actor was then arrested for hitting Michael Trujillo, a pal of the actor's, in the face.
The victim related the story, saying he'd been arguing with Brian Bonsall at the time and asked the guest to leave. However, the Star Trek star refused and started to attack Trujillo with the stool. Alcohol appeared to be involved since the actor admitted to forgetting what had happened. (source BuddyTV)
