Star Trek: The Next Generation
Season 3, Episode 26 & Season 4, Episode 1 “The Best of Both Worlds Pt 1 & 2”
A special thanks to twitter follower @camillereads for suggesting this episode as a topic for this week’s Trivia Tribble.
“The Best of Both Worlds” was the second time the Borg appeared on Star Trek. The first was in the episode “Q Who.” This episode was the first time that Star Trek had a cliffhanger episode at the end of a season, a tradition that would occur in many subsequent seasons of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise. It was also the first two-part Star Trek episode since the November 1966 original series episode: “The Menagerie.”
