Last month we reported on Star Trek D-A-C heading to the PS3 through the Playstion Network.  According to Destructoid, this release  includes several improvements to the game over the earlier XBOX 360 version.  Check out the info and video below for more details.

Among the improvements are changable difficulty levels and more setting options, but the biggest addition to Star Trek D-A-C is the PS3-exclusive fourth ship group, a support type. Unlike the fighter, bomber, and flagship, this support craft doesn't have much offensive power. Instead, think of it as a healer and a defensive assist. This addition really changes the dynamic of the game completely, promoting more cooperative play. You'll have to protect that healer to survive. (source Destructoid)
