More Star Trek Online Web Updates
A new round of updates have been posted on the Star Trek Online site. Included, in the updates are a new 'Meet the Team' segment and a brand new Kobayashi Maru.
Meet the Team
In this weeks 'Meet the Team', we meet Josh Ferguson, one of the Star Trek Online team’s content designers.
Josh works specifically in exploration content, so when you’re boldly going where no man has gone before, he's the guy to remember!
What do you do on Star Trek Online?
I’m a content designer. Specifically, I deal with a lot of the "Exploration Content." One of the core components of the Star Trek universe is the whole "…where no one has gone before" idea, and I’m doing a lot the content work geared towards supporting that notion. No "One" may have seen precisely what the player is exploring, but there is a whole lot of work needed to make sure that it makes sense, plays well, fits Trek and above all … that it is fun.
Who is your favorite Star Trek character and why?
Hands down, I loved Morn from DS9. He was the source of a lot of humor, sure, but his greatest strength was in how the other characters spoke to and about him. It’s that kind of nuance and implied background that I think Star Trek has always been a fantastic source of.
Trek has always conveyed a rich universe in subtle ways, from the numerous Mirror Universe stories down to Spock’s arched eyebrow accompanied with a dry "fascinating …." Morn exemplified that. I was among the group that so wanted him to have the final words in the series finale of DS9.

Kobayashi Maru Vol. 14
This weeks Kobayashi Maru involves Klingons and the Romulan border.
You are captain of a small science vessel currently assisting in repairs on Deep Space 32B not far from the Romulan neutral zone, most of your crew is young an inexperienced and your vessel would hardly stand up to anything more then a 22nd century NX class ship.
As your ship begins to undock with the station long range sensors suddenly detect a small fleet of 3 Klingon star ships heading for the station...
