As reported by SciFi Wire, Zoe Saldana (Uhura, Star Trek XI) was interviewed last Friday at Comic-Con and revealed that the script for Star Trek XII is halfway done.

Star Trek Online released brand new details for the Klingon Super Carrier Vo'Quv Class.

When the alliance with the Federation began to break down, the Klingon Defense Force realized that it needed a ship with more space and armaments than even the mighty Negh'Var. This would be a carrier capable of anchoring a fleet or leading an invasion – the ultimate weapon for a new Klingon Empire.

Dream Cheeky has put out an officially licensed Star Trek communicator that connects to your PC via USB and works like a phone. It is compatible with applications such as Skype, MSN, AIM, and iChat. Also, as it is basically a microphone and handset speaker, it should be compatible with nearly any application that uses either. Thinkgeek.com has videos of it in action. (In a fairly funny way.)

As reported by Cleveland.com, Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings) has joined the cast of Brannon Braga's Flash Forward.

For those who don't know, Flash Forward is a new series that follows a group of people grappling with their fates when humanity is given a glimpse into its near future.  Brannon Braga is co-creator of Flash Forward and a Star Trek Enterprise, Voyager, DS9, and The Next Generation alum.

While others toil away at their hum-drum jobs, heroes are out there doing what needs to be done for the rest of us.  Well, maybe that was a bit over dramatic.
