Mike Scott, movie writer for the Times-Picayune in New Orleans and self described Star Wars guy, has tried over the years to discover the magic that is Star Trek.

With the forthcoming reboot of Star Trek, he's decided to give it one more shot. Starting April 23rd he's watching all 10 Star Trek movies back-to-back and documenting his experience.

Watch along if you like -- I'll queue up 1979's "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" at Stardate 10 a.m. Central time, according to the atomic clock in my kitchen.
